Letter from the President

​

On behalf of the Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPsi) at William & Mary, welcome! Before you explore our site and learn more about our brotherhood, I want to share a brief history of AKPsi as well as my experience as a member of this amazing fraternity. Since its formation in 1904, Alpha Kappa Psi has established itself as the world’s oldest and largest professional business fraternity.

 

Our own Omega Chapter was installed in 1921 and has grown to over 250 alumni members since 2000. The fraternity is built upon core values of brotherhood, unity, service, integrity and knowledge. These five values are what unite diverse, passionate, and hardworking individuals from around the world as brothers. My personal journey through AKPsi has been more rewarding than I ever could have anticipated. As a freshman in the Fall of 2017, I wanted to find a community where I could get involved and grow as an individual. I was thinking about studying business, so I thought AKPsi would help prepare me for a business education. But once I met some of the brothers, I quickly discovered that AKPsi was a unique community that meant much more than business.

 

I have met students from an impressive range of majors, backgrounds, and countries who all share the same desire to not only find their own success, but also to help their peers succeed. Above all, I have met some of my best friends in college through this fraternity. I encourage anyone and everyone to get to know us better and find out how Alpha Kappa Psi can help you develop critical professional skills and also build friendships that will last a lifetime.​
